MY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TOWARDS TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN

Hi, you all. .

Tunku Abdul Rahman in memory

"Right from the moment when I became Prime Minister, my aim, my thinking, my planning and as a matter of fact my whole heart was set on building up a prosperous and happy Malayan society."
TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN PUTRA AL-HAJ (1957-1970)
How are you today? Feeling well? As all you notice, this month is a rainy days. So, take care of yourself my dearest reader. Today, I will talk about my acknowledgement towards Tunku Abdul Rahman. He had a lot of contributions towards our country. He had sacrificed everything that he had in order to protect our country. How cool he is, right? The thing I really admired about his is about he don’t even cared about his status. As we all know he is a son of Sultan Kedah. But he is don’t even mind to mingle with his people. From that, we know that he is so humble person. He had already given everything to his people and tried his best to get a freedom to Malaysian and bring it up. I, represent all of Malaysian, would like to say a big thank you to Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj for all of his sacrifice and his contributions.
I quote the words from Queen Elizabeth II and Dr Mahathir Mohamad about Tunku Abdul Rahman.
He enjoyed a unique position in Malaysia, and was held in the highest regard in Britain, the Commonwealth and the world at large. -- Queen Elizabeth II
The country has lost a premier statesman and leader. As for me, my love and respect for the late Tunku has never wavered and I greatly mourn his passing. -- Dr Mahathir Mohamad

TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN

Our 'Bapa Kemerdekaan'
Prime Minister of Malaya / Malaysia
31st August 1957 - 22nd September 1970
Good day, everyone.
As for today, we are still going to talk about Tunku Abdul Rahman. Dah namanya pun blog pasal Tunku Abdul Rahman kan? Hehe.

Remembered as the "Father of Independence", Malaysia’s first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman, had recognised the vital importance of fostering cooperation among Malaysia’s various ethnic groups as a way to overcome political problems. It was also Tunku who envisioned the idea of Malaysia - a federation of Malaya, Singapore (which later seceded in 1965), Sabah and Sarawak which was established in 1963. Tunku is also recognised for his elevation of Islam to the status of official religion and he was instrumental in the setting up of the Organisation of Islamic Conference in 1969, of which he was the first Secretary-General. Perhaps Tunku Abdul Rahman’s greatest single achievement was in giving Malaysians a sense of pride and nationhood. That’s all for today. Thank you for reading.

TUNKU'S ACHIEVEMENT AND CONTRIBUTIONS

Good afternoon, my readers. .

Today, we are going to talk about Tunku Abdul Rahman contributions. For his contributions and sacrifices in bringing the country from colonialism to independence, Tunku Abdul Rahman is known as the Father of Independence. He became the first prime minister of the Federation of Malaya from 1957 to1963, and of Malaysia from 1963 to 1970. His leadership flair also unfolded in England. Realising the Malay students there were not represented by any organisation, he established the Kesatuan Melayu Great Britain (Malay Association of Great Britain) and became its first secretary. See. How responsible he is in brings up the Malays. Good job, Tunku . His attempt at completing his law studies at the Inner Temple in England in 1938 came to a halt due the outbreak of the Second World War. He resumed his studies eight years later and came home with his legal qualifications in 1949. The political awareness he gained while making friends with people from various nations in England did not go to waste, when he was made chairman of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) soon after his return. Oh my god. He is one of good idol for us? Don’t you think so, readers? Okay. Let’s continue. On August 26, 1951, Tunku became the UMNO President succeeding Dato' Onn Jaafar. He travelled all over the country meeting people from all walks of life to promote unity. His efforts in overcoming the country's political problems by way of cooperation among the various ethnic groups saw the birth of the Alliance Party in 1955. Under his leadership, the Alliance won the country's first general election in July 1955. He really can impress people like me. He is so talented. Tunku was then appointed the country's Chief Minister and Minister of Home Affairs. In 1956, he led a mission to London for a discussion with the British government concerning the independence for Malaya. The meeting resulted in the signing of the Independent Treaty at Lancaster House in London on February 8, 1956 and consequently, the independence of Malaya in August 31, 1957. Tunku was then elected as the first Prime Minister of Malaya, and led the Alliance to victory in the 1959, 1964 and 1969 general elections. See. He had a lot of contribution for his people. We really need to appreciate what he had did to our country. Thank you so much, Tunku Abdul Rahman.

People who admire him will feel excited to know it, right? J Oh, yeah. Before that, let we start with his education level. He starts his study in 1913 in Debsurin School in Bangkok. If I am not mistaken, he was 10 years old on that time. After that, he returns to Kedah and he had been sent to Penang Free School to further his study in 1915. Four years later, he had been awarded a scholarship to further his studies at Cambridge University. Oh my God. How awesome he is. Be at the great university in 16. Wonderful! Tunku Abdul Rahman start participate in politic after he had been invited to be a chairman of the Kedah Branch of UMNO, newly formed by Dato’ Onn bin Jaafar in 1949.Tunku Abdul rahman is a hardworking person and his hard work receives a favourable report and he is promoted to the President of the Selangor Court. After that, he is approached by Abdul Razak, who is now the deputy president of UMNO, to accept the nomination to be President of UMNO and succeed Onn Jaafar who himself is becoming unpopular because of his ideas about accepting non-Malays into the party. On 23 August 1951, after Onn Jaafar resigns to start his multi-racial political party IMP, Tunku is elected as President of UMNO. And lastly, he resigns from government service. And what happens to him after that. I will let you not in my new entry. Tunggu ye J
